Dear books 🤍

You take me to places. 

You are my getaway refuge.

My soulmate sometimes, sometimes you fix my fuse. 

I can say I have been to Paris, Japan, the Vatican, Afganistan.

I have shared a bit of agony of Nazi Germany, bit of colors of North and South India and the secrets of Pakistan.

I have experienced many Mosques and Churches.

I've been a thief, a captive and sometimes even a killer.

I have cried, I have laughed and felt cringey on the other while. 

I have been with Buddha, I have been with Monks, my friends are sometimes the prisoners and sometimes the drunk.

You made me feel high, you made me cry. The gushing adrenaline rush and made my cheeks blush.

But wait hey, where was I all these times.

Just on my bed, with you and a glass of vine.❤️
